Thick, succulent, opposite leaves with a heavy wax covering; variegated foliage available; long vines with umbels of flowers which look like clusters of stars. Allow the soil to dry between waterings; plant is susceptible to rot if kept too damp; flowers are long lasting and slightly fragrant.
